I've modified (i.e. I did not program it!) the great Rikaichan addon for Firefox.
I added a new action to Rikaichan: Rikaichan Word List. What this new action will do can be seen in the following screenshots.
I only added new functions to the addon, I did not change the existing behavior!

My modification is only available in Firefox at the moment, not in Thunderbird. The normal Rikaichan behavior is still useable in Thunderbird, though! But it will (of course) need the dictionary files from the original Rikaichan to be installed alongside!
Download my modification: Rikaichan [551KiB][Version: 1.11]
The installation is the same as for the original. In fact you can just install my version over the original, that'll do the trick.
As you can see in the screenshots this modification is pretty dumb at the moment, it doesn't know about the context of a kanji or sentence part and it will always pick the very first translation it finds. This will most definitly lead to wrong results in the word list (this is shown in the second screenshot) so be sure you check the results again! This modification is only intended as a kind of a first help. I programmed it to help me prepare vocuablary lists for my text translation courses at University.
Feel free to send me comments or improvement suggetions.
Sometimes this error might occur Sorry, I can't make a word list because of ...(see next screenshot). At the moment I don't know why it occurs, but I'll try to fix it as soon as I figure it out.
